Hailed as a “major delight” (Duluth News Tribune) Erin is an emerging young soprano garnering praise for her colorful vocal tone and warm stage presence. Her repertoire includes opera, concert, and chamber works. 

This past season Ms. Persick made her professional debut as Zerlina (Don Giovanni) with the Lyric Opera of the North and her international debut at the Indemini Music Festival in Switzerland. She was also seen as a Young Artist with the Cedar Rapids Opera Theater where she covered the role of Liù (Turandot).


Previous credits include Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi), Susanna & Barbarina (Le Nozze di Figaro), Eurydice (Orpheus in the Underworld), Olga (The Merry Widow), Daters 3 & 12 (Speed Dating Tonight), Rose Maybud (Ruddigore), Second Woman (Dido and Aeneas), Despina (Cosi fan tutte), and Abigail Williams (The Crucible). Scene work includes Anne Trulove (The Rake’s Progress), Sophie (Der Rosenkavalier), Zdenka (Arabella), Gilda (Rigoletto), Nanetta (Falstaff), Adina (L’elisir d’amore), Juliette (Roméo et Juliette), Nedda (Pagliacci), Marguerite (Faust), Musetta (La bohème), Elisetta (Il matrimonio segreto), Contessa di Folleville (Il viaggio a Reims), Yum Yum (The Mikado), and Constance (Dialogues des Carmélites).

In addition to opera, Ms. Persick has a great interest in the art song and concert repertoire, actively performing as a soloist in private concerts and recitals. In 2019 she was selected to participate in the Art Song Preservation Society of New York Masterclass series where she worked with world renowned masters of French mélodie, Thomas Grubb and Frank Daykin. Erin was also recognized as a national semifinalist in the Nicholas Loren Competition (2016).

Erin is an alumna of Luther College, the University of North Texas, and Montclair State University. She currently resides in the New York metropolitan area.
